Region Round Up

Central girls 56,

Lakeside-DeKalb 42

Aliyah Foote led a balanced scoring attack as the Black Knights (15-11) claimed a 14-point win over the Vikings in Tuesday’s first quarterfinal.

Foote was the only Central player in double figures with 13 points, but she got plenty of help, including nine points from Amaya Adams and eight more from Jayla Black to help the Black Knights advance to the semifinals to meet top-seeded Norcross tonight at 6:30.
